Micromount

Some crystals are best appreciated under magnification. When you get up close and personal to the sample with a lense or microscope, you see a world of fresh detail. Crystals click into focus and you see details of the different minerals in the rock. A previously boring looking rock is filled with adventure and excitement. It is like looking at the world afresh. 

Micro mounts are a good way to start a collection as they don't take up too much storage space and it is possible to quickly build a diverse and interesting selection of uncommon minerals without breaking the bank.

We recommend using our 45x mini microscopes, but any sense with magnification between 15x and 45x will be perfect.
