Refunds and returns
Damaged and defective items
We always hope that your order arrives in perfect condition but we also understand that this isn’t always the case. If you wish to return an item which has arrived damaged or defective do so within 14 days of receipt.
Drop us an email at returns@scienceofmagic.co.uk to let us know you are returning an item(s) and we can help you with the procedure. Then post back the parcel to us and once we receive it we will offer you a full refund, or exchange. Whichever you prefer. Please note that the buyer pays for the return postage. Obtain Proof of Postage if possible so that you can prove the item was posted back, should it not arrive back with us. We advise using tracked shipping, or postal insurance for items over £75.
What if I’ve changed my mind?
In the event you are unhappy with the product, or you have simply changed your mind, you may return new and unused products within thirty days of purchase for a full refund of the cost of the goods only. Please return products with appropriate packaging (the original, undamaged packaging is best) along with the delivery note - please let us know why you are returning the item. We would advise that you get proof of postage just in case your parcel goes astray.
We cannot offer refunds on items which are not returned in their original condition, or show signs of use or wear. We are unable to accept part returns of kits or opened kits; nor can we refund gift cards.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and update them on the return.
