cretaceous fossil shrimp from the Lebanon

Carpopenaeus callirostris
Age: Cretaceous, Cenomanian (110 - 100 million years ago).
Location: Haqil, Lebanon.

These delightful fossil shrimp were alive, hanging out and doing their thing when dinosaurs walked the earth. They come from a famous Lebanese lagerstatten, which has been known for its abundant marine fossils since at least the 4th century AD. These specimens have been cleaned and show signs of small repairs. They have not been artificially coloured.

All prices are per item. The photographs are representative of the item offered for sale, but you may not receive the photographed sample. All items expect the fossils are for display only and are not for sale. All fossils come with an information card.
