Obsidian can often be quite harsh. It's all about reflections; be it reflecting information back to you, or reflecting trouble back to sender. Its a doing stone and all about activity. This is the calmest of all the obsidian varieties and is a little more grounding. It promotes focus and helps one narrow one's ideas down to a few manageable options.
