Opal

Opal has long been famed for its beauty and mystery and has been popular since Roman times. The Romans associated it with wealth, power and money. Traditions change and opal is now more frequently associated with creativity and creation. It represents the power of the moon. It encourages us to move away fro overly concrete thought patterns, challenge ideas and explore new avenues.

It is the birthstone for October.
